This five day intensive program meets the training criteria under the National Mediator Accreditation Standards (NMAS). Completion of the course qualifies attendees to progress to assessment for accreditation (www.msb.org.au)

Who should attend?Who should attend? Individuals who are keen to learn about the proven mediation process adaptable to resolve different types of conflict in the community. The program covers theoretical frameworks, communications skills, community mediation role plays, practical methods for responding to power and emotional dynamics and personalised feedback from skilled mediation practitioners.
About the Program The program will use a combination of interactive activities, role-plays, individual and group exercises, group debriefs and individual coaching, with written feedback for specific exercises to develop mediator knowledge, skills and ethical understandings. Participants are expected to commit to the entirety of the 5 day program to meet the threshold training requirements under NMAS.

*Partial Scholarships $350The CJC will be offering a limited number of partial scholarships for the 5 day workshop and video assessment (participants will be required to arrange own transport, accommodation and pay for the NMAS Registration Fee).
