UpperChapelEisteddfod:Thecommitteeweredelightedwiththeeventthisyear,feelingthatitwasprobablythebestinmanyyears.TherewasaveryhighstandardofcompetitionalldayanditculminatedinafantasticOpenChampionSolo.TherewerecompetitorsfromalloverWalestakingpart,manyofwhommadethecommentthatoursisthebestofitskindanywhereinWales.Thishastobethegreatestofcomplimentsasitcomesfromthosetakinganactivepartinthecompetition.

TheCommitteewouldalsoliketopaytributetotheveryspecialsupportofthelocalcommunitywithoutwhichsuchanambitiousandlargeeventwouldnotbefinanciallypossible.Andwetrustthatthosewhocamealongthoroughlyenjoyedtheirday.
