Late in January 2007, the Homeless Action Network of Detroit will be charged by H.U.D. to perform a count of all homeless living OUTside shelters. A campaign of wearing buttons and distributing cards will let the homeless know that the count is FOR them.

The theme of the campaign is thatWe want to count every person,
because Every Person Counts
Button/Card Field Distribution: Work with LDI to distribute campaign buttons to Service Providers in Detroit at Agency Partner locations. Field Observation Reporters: Work as a group to record field observations of homeless persons’ out-of-shelter habitats
