MEGAN R. MAGWIRE BIO:I love Landscape Architecture because it combines art and I love Landscape Architecture because it combines art and creativity with science and problem-solutions. With such a wide scope of possibilities, I am always on the journey to expand my knowledge and gain learning experiences to make me a better Landscape Architect. I do all that I do because I love this environment that I live in - its rugged naturalness to its cultural heritage. And I want the world to see what I see. I design to celebrate the built environto see what I see. I design to celebrate the built environ-ment and to preserve nature. I want to make people proud of this place.

COMPUTER GRAPHICS - Sandpoint Park

“The Revitalization of Sandpoint”: The project’s purpose was to cel-ebrate the culture of Titusville, formerly known as Sandpoint, FL. It’s mission was to transform Sandpoint Park from an under-used, recre-ational program-based park to a culturally significant landmark that connects downtown Titusville to the waterfront, and identifies with Titusville’s culture through historical and educational interpretation.

PROJECT ABSTRACT.Magwire Park was my first school design project. It is a community garden tucked within the corner of a residential neighborhood. The project emphasized studying design theory and how it translates into a garden by focusing on the elements and principles of design.
