Course Text

• Learning Focused School–This course will be taught based on

the Common Core State Standards.   Each unit will be guided with a Student Learning Map and unit resources containing guided notes, examples, and practice material throughout the year.

• Materials Needed: Notebook, paper, pencils/legible pens, dry erase marker, calculator (suggested), book to read

Grading PolicyPRODUCT: 60% PROCESS: 40%

• Test ………………around100 pts (Product)• Final……. Around 250-350 points

(Product)• Quiz…………… Around 50 pts (Process)• Homework ……………...2pts/per

(Process)• Exit Tickets…………….vary (Process)• Basic Skills………………5pts/per

Assignments• You should expect to have extensions

(homework) from this class each night.• No late homework is accepted.• If you are absent from class…..• Upcoming absence….. • It is the student’s responsibility to
