Our Current Internship Strategy
The Internship Program at Volkswagen Group of America (VWGoA) targets students and recent graduates who have long term employment potential at VWGoA. The purpose of an internship from a student perspective is to acquire practical real world experience.
The Internship Program gives students an opportunity to apply skills learned in the classroom, and it allows them to gain an understanding of specific facets of our organization. For VWGoA, the Internship Program creates a talent pool for potential future entry level positions.

Our Volkswagen group has recruiting videos but why doesn’t Volkswagen Chattanooga?• Online communities, as opposed to all-inclusive job boards,
is another good place to target your recruitment process at a specific demographic.
• Statistics in regards to how many interns get higher as full time employees.
• Hashtags in a social media posts can get the word out about an open position more quickly than posting on job sites. Instead of having to advertise on job sites, companies are able to reach a wider audience.
