Assurances Reminders
SDCL 67:42:14:26-28 All after and summer school programs must be licensed to meet minimum health, fire, safety, and building codes.
If a public or private organization, other than a school, assures that its program was developed and will be carried out in active collaboration with the schools the students attend.
Applicant will coordinate and collaborate with other health and social services.
Competitive Grant Basics• Align your programming entirely to the proposal in the
application Amendments and Approval Process
• Only apply for the amount that will fulfill the program. Example if only serving 40-50 kids and applying for the maximum
amount, this may cause concern for us as we need to determine that the amount you are requesting is necessary for the number of students that you are serving and programming that will be happening.
• Refrain from sentences and paragraphs in the budget. Use one line per each expenditure
GMS Tips and Tricks• Do NOT use the back button on your web browser.
• Instead, navigate by the panes on the top which are organized from left to right and top to bottom.
• The GMS works best with a Chrome internet browser • Find and click the Save Page button
