• A polar bear is a large, white bear. Polar bears live mainly along the northern coasts of Canada, Greenland, and Russia, as well as on islands in the Arctic Ocean. Polar bears are also found near the northern coast of Alaska.

• Does your animal always look the same, or does its appearance ever change? (From baby to adult? From season to season?)

• yes, polar bears will grow from baby to adult•• Polar bear mother and baby

• Does your animal's appearance protect it in any way?• yes, it dose protect them .

Where does your animal live?they live in the north pole.and they also live in Europe, Asia and some times North America.

and they live in freezing water!

Is that place always the same? Does it ever change? How?in the summer when the ice melts some polar bears come to shore!for a few months polar bears act like brown bears!

• so polar bears have baby's instead of a eggs.•

What changes does your animal go through to become an adult?

• for the first month a cub grows more then 4 times• a two month cub can walk but he still is not strong to

leave his den• when the cub is 3 years old it is finally ready to leave

its den
