About DRS

Consultancy and development Designing and delivering tailored conflict avoidance and dispute

resolution services for governments and individual organisations to meet their

particular needs and challenges

Professional qualification/Training services enabling professionals within the

built environment to complete professional training and

assessment, qualify and gain accreditation to practice as a

dispute resolver to the highest standards of quality

Operations services Providing

appointment/nomination/referral services, which give parties

access to highly qualified and impartial dispute resolvers, who

are professionals in the land, property and construction sectors

DRS is the division of RICS responsible for providing conflict avoidance and resolution services globally with focus on the built environment sector. Focussing on three primary areas:

DRS Operations Service • Managing approximately 5000 applications annually • Appointing, Nominating and referring dispute resolvers in a wide range of matters

with the focus on the built environment, covering:

• Matching DRS makes referral, nominations and appointments from panels of trained and qualified dispute resolvers, the panels are set up and managed by DRS. All panel members also undergo regular reassessments

• Over four decades DRS will have appointed, nominated and referred over 200,000 dispute resolvers on cases
