BEST PAPERS AWARDThe OMC Programme Committee will present an award for the best papers presented with the following motivation:
• Outstanding Technical Content/Innovation• Best paper by a young talentAward Ceremony will take place on the closing day.
PROCEEDINGSAll papers presented at OMC 2017 receive additional exposure and divulgation as they are available for sale on line at http://shop.omc.it as well as www.onepetro.org.
In line with its long standing tradition, OMC 2017 will gather industry experts and international thought leaders to discuss the latest trends in the industry: the theme of transition will be addressed, after Paris Cop-21 agreement and the recent decline in oil prices which both promise to reshape the Oil&Gas Industry.Accordingly, the title of OMC 2017 is “Transition to a sustainable energy mix: the contribution of the Oil & Gas industry”, highlighting how the wide range of expertise and experiences of this industry can and must contribute to a sustainable future.OMC 2017 in Ravenna will be the right place to listen to thought-provoking lectures, be exposed to the latest trends of the industry, network with peers and, above all, contribute to build a better and more prosperous future. In order to present a paper in one of the Technical Sessions, please submit your abstract no later than August 31.Papers are solicitated in the technical areas covered by the Session Topics: however, if you have other relevant proposals, feel free to submit your abstract to the Committee.
