26November2015DearParents/CarerSincethestartofthecurrentacademicyear,everyoneattheschoolhasbeenworkingincrediblyhardtoaddresstheissuesidentifiedfromourOfstedinspectioninJune.Onthe12thofNovember2015,theschoolhadavisitfromOfstedtomonitortheprogressmadesincetheinspection.Iamdelightedtoannouncethatfollowinga1daymonitoringvisit,Ofstedmadethefollowingjudgementregardingtheschool:“Seniorleadersandgovernorsaretakingeffectiveactiontotackletheareasrequiringimprovementidentifiedattherecentsection5inspectioninordertobecomeagoodschool”Inadditionthereportalsostates,“Leadersareunitedintheirambitionanddeterminationtotaketheacademyfrom‘requiresimprovement’to‘good’andbeyond.Thereisarenewedsenseofurgencyandastrongcommitmenttoaddressthepreviousinspectionreportfindingsinatimelyandthoroughmanner.”AstheprincipaloftheschoolIamdelightedthatOfstedrecognisesthehardworkofallstakeholdersinmovingourschoolforwardsoswiftly.Thereportwillbeavailableonourwebsiteshortly,meanwhileIhaveattachedacopyofthevisitreportforparents’information.Itrustthatparentsandcarerswilljoinwithmeincelebratingtheongoingsuccessofourschool.Yourssincerely
