LETTER SYMBOLS

For the purpose of this standard, the following symbols apply:

a) A, B, P, T, L, V, X and Y identify ports in accordance with ISO 9461;b) F

1, F

2, F

3, F

4, F

5 and F

6 identify threaded holes for mounting fasteners; and

c) G1, and G

2 identify location pin holes.

MOUNTING SURFACE IDENTIFICATION CODING

The following prefixes relate to the mounting surface valve type:

C = is the non-return (check) valveD = is the directional control valveFB = is the cam-actuated two-stage compensated flow control valveF, 2F, 3F = are the compensated flow control valvesP = is the pressure control valve (other than the relief valve),

sequence valve, throttle valve and non-return (check) valve.POC = is the pilot operated valvesR, RP, RV= are the pressure relief valves

TOLERANCES

The following tolerances shall apply, unless otherwise specified in table.

Surface roughness (RT)

NOTE: See ISO 4287 and ISO 4288 for further surface roughness tolerances.

Surface Flatness:0.01 mm over a distance of 100 mm(.0004 inch over a distance of 4inches)

NOTE: See ANSI/Y14.5M for furthersurface flatness tolerances
