Travel Retail is an international business which caters to the retail requirements of the travelling consumer. It does so through four sub-divisions: world respected destination retail stores reflecting a sense of place and offering a wide range of souvenir, craft and destination related gifting; specialist jewellery stores and experiential diamond cutting operations; destination and airport restaurants and taverns, and a duty free business offering inflight duty free and buy-on-board services to airlines including British Airways, SAA, Kenya and TAAG Angolan Airlines. The duty free sub-division has expanded its operations to include a ground duty free outlet at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, in Lagos, Nigeria, with another expected to open soon at Bole airport, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It also operates the Down Town duty free business in Cape Town.
