• OSHA 10- and 30-Hour Courses—Our certifiedconsultants can provide 10- and 30-hour training inooccupational safety and health standards for both generalindustry and construction.
• Written Training Guides—MRC can produce formalizedFacilitator and Participant’s Guides to ensure world-class
OSHA compliance training and accompanying Fact Sheetsand Huddle Cards which are site- and industry-specificsynopses of OSHA programs. These guides are veryeffective at educating and following up with personnelregarding OSHA requirements and site-specificresponsibilities.
• OSHA GAP Analysis—Using our proprietary OSHAOverview GAP Analysis, MRC will target key indicators thatpresent improvement opportunities. These opportunities,in conjunction with the advice and support of MRCexperts, may assist your organization with closing the gapsin management processes and compliance deficiencies,which represent the greatest potential for risk abatement.
• Mock OSHA Assessments—Much like a formal OSHAinspection, our consultants will conduct a physicalinspection of your facilities, evaluate programs andtraining, and provide a baseline measurement of yourcompliance with OSHA standards to identify where yourcompany has exposure to potential OSHA citations.Possible violations, recommendations, and guidelines forimprovements will be outlined. For advanced safety
managements systems, our specialized team of consultantscan provide assistance when obtaining VoluntaryProtection Program (VPP) status from federal OSHA or anOSHA-recognized state plan state. Along with our mockOSHA assessments, our consultants go to the next level byperforming TRC/DART rate calculations and physical auditsas well as conducting personnel interviews based on anorganization’s satisfactory safety management system.
• Inspection Consultation and Abatement Assistance—MRC also provides compliance assistance to thoseorganizations that have recently been inspected and citedby OSHA. Assistance with informal conferences andabatement procedures, including industrial hygienesampling, are available. Our consultants will meet withyour management team to discuss the findings and
recommendations to assist in developing strategies forOSHA compliance.
CUSTOMIZED ASSESSMENT
Our consultants will work with you to develop audit protocols
and scoring that address programs, practices, and policiesalready in place. If desired, MRC can also look atopportunities to improve these programs, policies, andpractices to meet OSHA regulatory requirements.
OHSAS 18000 PROGRESS REVIEW
While our MRC team utilizes the aspects of OHSAS 18000requirements for safety management systems during the
assessment, it is not intended to be an OHSAS 18000assessment or audit. We provide an objective third partyevaluation of your current safety and health processes andadvise on the readiness across the full set of managementsystem requirements to aid in your formalized OHSAS 18000audit.
