40 Suspected Cases tested at KEMRI. All negativeKEMRI has enough supplies

Capacity Building of Health Workers

•16,000 Health workers trained. Target is 20,000•20,000 Clinician handbooks printed/being distributed

KNH Ebola Treatment Unit

•Permanent KNH Ebola Treatment Unit completed•80 Health workers already trained at the Unit•Mobilizing funds to set up more at MTRH, Busia, Mombasa•Procuring 5 ambulances and 5 pickups

PPEs and other Supplies

•PPEs, Drugs, Equipment, Non pharmaceuticals procured•Distribution to Counties ongoing•50% to be retained at KEMSA NRB

Public Education and Advocacy

•IEC materials distributed to the counties•Ccommunity engagement ongoing•2 hotlines 0732 35 35 35/ 0729 47 14 14

International Support and Capacity Building

• 170 health workers deployed to Sierra Leone and Liberia on 9th Jan 2015

• Donated USD 1million to affected countries
