REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
CHIPPEWA CREE TRIBE WATER RESOURCE
DEPARTMENT
The Chippewa Cree Tribe Water Resource Department is hereby soliciting Statements of Qualifications and Experience from qualified Civil Engineering Consultant (“Consultant”) Firms to provide engineering services for the planning, design, and construction administration for the ICDBG-CARES Water System Improvement Project. The professional engineering services that may be required under this solicitation include, but are not limited to providing technical assistance to Tribal staff on an as needed basis; developing short and long range plans; updating utility inventory for the reservation; performing project surveying and GIS mapping developing complete construction documents for water and sewer lines and other public works projects; monitoring construction work in progress; working with Tribal staff to perform technical tasks; and providing required project reports.
Selection Criteria will include prior similar experience, experience working with Indian Reservations, staff experience and team qualifications, availability/location, experience working with Federal programs and TERO
Certified-Indian Owned.
The “Statement of Qualifications” shall include at a minimum:
1. Resumes of key staff2. Project experience3. References, minimum of three with at least one being affiliated4. Schedule of Rate (hourly fee schedule)
Six copies of “Statement of Qualifications” will be received by the Chippewa Cree Tribe, Attention: Sue LaMere, Procurement Officer, 96 Clinic Road, Box Elder, MT, 59521. For further information, contact Water Resource Department, 16 Black Prairie St., Box Elder, MT, 59521. Please limit proposal length to 40 pages or fewer, excluding resumes, cover letter, table of contents, and divider sheets. Proposals will be received before 5:00 P.M., October 15, 2020.
