This installation places a workstation in the passenger/cargo compartment, secured to the cargo tracks by track fittings. The workstation can be located on the left side or the right side of the cabin. Fore/aft location of the workstation is physically limited by the cargo/seat tracks and the seat installation. Installation location must be chosen to maintain certificated aircraft weight & balance limitations.
2.0 INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE
It is the objective of this inspection and maintenance procedure to ensure that component installations are secure and that the installation is airworthy. Table I should be followed during ANNUAL/100 Hour inspections for system airworthiness. All loose and/or replaced bolts and fasteners should be torqued per Appendix A. This document does not address maintenance or approval of equipment installed in the workstation or electrical system necessary to operate the equipment. Each shelf of the Work Station is limited to maximum 35 pounds distributed load.
3.0 COMPONENT REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
3.1 Remove and replace the Work Station assembly reference Figures 1, 2 as applicable. 3.2 The Work Station assembly is supplied as a unit. If component beams and panels are
removed to facilitate equipment installation, use LocTite 290 or equivalent on screw threads and torque per Appendix A when reassembling
3.3 Adjust aircraft weight and balance data when installed equipment are removed or
installed or WorkStation location is changed. Certificated shelf loading (See Placard at front of desk shelf) must not be exceeded.

The above torque values may be used for all cadmium-plated steel nuts of the fine or coarse thread series which have approximately equal number of threads and equal face bearing areas. * Estimated corresponding values. This table includes standard nut and bolt combinations, currently used in aviation maintenance. For further identification of hardware, see AC 43.13-1B, Chapter 7.
