Card of Thanks (continued)
To Our Church Family,
The family of Dovie Cole would like to extend our
heartfelt appreciation to our Church Family. We
appreciate and thank all of those who have expressed
their sympathy with prayers, food, visits, cards, and
hugs. She always enjoyed visiting our church and the
Ladies visiting with supper on Wednesday nights.
Communion Sunday visits were very special to her also.
Thank you all for your Christian Love.
For the kind thing you’ve done, for the happiness
you’ve given, thank you.
Laticia & Jimmy, Jennifer and Gary,
Stephanie & Morgan, Courtney, Matt,
Grissom, Evie, and Manning
Dear Friends,
Mere words cannot begin to express our sincere
appreciation for all the outpouring of love shown to
Keith during his illness and to our family as we grieve
his passing. The food, flowers, visits, cards, and
expression of sympathy touched our hearts and are
deeply appreciated. We are truly blessed to be a part of
this caring church and community.
In Christian love,
Anita and Family
Dear Ladies of the Bereavement Committee,
On behalf of the entire Fisher family, I want to thank
you for the lovely meal served to us after Keith’s
funeral. The food was delicious and the effort put into
serving such a crowd was deeply appreciated. You can’t
truly know how meaningful this ministry is until you’ve
been on the receiving end.
May God bless each of you for your service,
Sincerely,
Anita
Dear Member of FUMC,
Thank you so much for the kindness you have shown
our family. The meal was wonderful and the lovely table
settings were just what Mother ( Lavina Primrose)
would have loved.
Janice and Alvis (Daniels)
Dear Friends,
Thanks for remembering me on my 96th birthday. You
all are so good, sending such pretty cards.
I had a great ice cream and cake party. My children
and their spouses, and some grandchildren and great
grands.
Bless all of you and I love you,
Ruby (McLeary)
The Young Disciples Sunday School Class,
Thank you so much for the encouragement and
Devotion Books! They will be a constant reminder of
the church’s constant love and support over the years!
Thank you again for thinking of me during this special
time!
Love,
Anna Oliver
To the Members of FUMC,
Thank you so very much for all the acts of kindness
shown to us during the illness and following the
death of Tommy Triplett. A special thank you to
Rev. Tim Atkins and to Rev. Jim Calhoun for their
comforting words inspired by God.
Also thank you for the beautiful prayer shawl
knitted by loving hands; thank you for the Wednesday
Night Meals, and for all the food brought to the
house for the nourishment and enjoyment of all our
family during the week of the funeral.
Thank you for the get-well cards and then for the
sympathy cards. Thank you for the memorials and
the flowers. Thanks to all who traveled to Waverly
for the visitation or the funeral—but most of all thank
you for your prayers for us during this time of grief.
We loved Tommy and we miss him.
In Christian love,
The Triplett Family
