Opportunities for UNCW from MSEAC & VEAC meeting include

• Microsoft & Booz Allen Hamilton—pending conversations with both companies to create a 1 year cohort curriculum that can be delivered online/hybrid. UNCW would train and certify military spouses and veterans and serve as a supply pipeline for Microsoft in areas of software development & cybersecurity. Microsoft’s Military Affairs Chief of Staff is interested in touring UNCW’s CIS Program. 

• Soldier For Life Program—is the only DoD agency that connects transitioning U.S. Army Soldiers to a network of entities that support their health, wellness, education, and employment opportunities that are required to successfully reintegrate into civilian society. UNCW can serve as a supply pipeline to train, educate, and employ U.S. Army veterans in all degree paths, specifically accounting, finance, MBA, and PMP certification.
