This colorized, perspective AFM images demonstrate stepwise directional photofl uidic evolution of nanotextureswith deterministically controlled structural complexity, asreported by Seungwoo Lee, Jung-Ki Park, and co-workers.This promising design approach shows a hidden potential ofnanofabrication, greatly extending our ability to manipulatephotonic and interface properties of nanotextured surfaces.
