*Photography Project

*I like the colours of the dragon fly and the contrast with the green leaves

*I like the birds and the shape of the tree branches and how the snow falls on the tree

*I think the fairy house is cute and I like the setting in the forest

*I took the picture because I liked how the bird was looking out at the sunset..

*The fog makes the picture look mysterious and dreamlike. You cant see anything past the two trees.

*I thought the sky looked pretty. It looks like the sun is draging away the pink sky.

*Ansel Easton Adams was born on February 20, 1902 and died on April 22, 1984

*He was an American photographer*He was best known for his black-and-white landscape photographs*He took up photography in the summer in his twenties when he was hiking.*His first photographs were published in 1921*He wanted to be a musician eventually he decided he wasn’t going

anywhere with the music career and he went back to photography*His 1st portfolio was a success making $3900*He had a 60 year career in photography*He started teaching at the Art Centre School of Los Angeles in the 1940s* In September 1941, Adams worked with the Department of the Interior to

make photographs of National Parks, Indian reservations, and other locations for decoration of the Department's new building

*He didn’t always use black and white but he felt that colour distracted from the picture.

* In 1980 Jimmy Carter awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor.

*He died at the age of 82 from a heart attack*He had a wife, two kids, and five grand children.
