- To begin with, I had to make the background of the text black. To do this I had to select Edit, Fill and then choose black from the fill dialog box. I then selected the text box and put in a text, and then coloured it
white. I could then easily edits position and size by selecting free transformation. (Edit>Free Transformation). I then made a copy of t his text by selecting the layer on the side and pressing Ctrl +J. After this I rotatedmy text 90degrees clockwise. Next was the wind affect . I selected Filter>Styalize>Wind. I had to re apply this wind af fect a couple of times before I was sat isfied with it. I then rotated CCW back to its original position.
After this the next phase was to add the Gaussian Blur. (Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur). I then had to make a cop(Duplicate) my background layer (Ctrl+J). Furthermore I merged both the Text and the background layer
together by selecting Layer >Merge Down. Moreover I selected a rectangle around the text giving it enough room for flames. This is because I was then going Liquefy it. (Select Layer then Filter> Liquify ). Once I had
finished with this, I clicked the layer/text, and selected at the bottom Fx, and then Gradient Overlay. I then set selected the Create new Fill or adjustment layer at the bottom of the page and adjusted the colour of my
text.

After this I then made my copy of my text visible and placed it over the top of my edited text. After this I selected the layer, and clicked on Fx at the bottom of the screen, and then Gradient

Tile EffectI started it off my selecting a black background, and inserting a brightly
coloured text in the middle, where it is easily visible. After this is set, I then
selected the layer of which the text is on, and then I selected the following.
(Filter>Styalize>Tiles). I reapplied this until I was satisfied with it. After this I
selected the magic wand tool which was on the side bar third option down.
I then selected the gaps in between the tiles, these highlighted, which
allows me to then deleted them. I carried this out for all of my letters. After
this, the tiles had been created, and I could therefore edit it any way I
could. This was the outcome.

This is simply a picture which has been blended with two other pictures.
Furthermore I have altered the entire gradient of the picture. To give a
more interesting look to it.

This is an image of me
taken during class. I made
this image black and
white, and was then able
to add colours to the
images and replicatethem in the same way,
however using different
colours. I liked this idea
as it looked very artistic
and appeared interesting
when the thought first
arose.
