I hate to say this but where did April and May go? It’s already June, and we had a

busy May, and we have many things to look forward to in the coming weeks and

months. Don’t forget you make this such a great and active Chamber!

A quick recap to May included the Senior Luncheon held at the Prior Lake VFW,

with Ed Speiker & crew making it a great event again this year. The Senior Lunch-

eon drew 275 seniors, I was the lucky one to be the Emcee, with many Chamber vol-

unteers and sponsors!! Thank you all. The newly crowned Queen is Anita Tang and King is Harlan

Johnson.

Then we golfed– the weather was not perfect, but Sandi said it correctly– It did not snow!! Our

May meeting was a little networking opportunity for all. It was pick a card and that was the table

you sat at and then we played a little musical chairs to meet our next networking contact. Mystic

Lake hosted a multi-Chamber After Hours at The Meadows. The weather, food and networking op-

portunities were endless!

Please keep in mind that the monthly membership meetings check in begins at 11:30… the first ½

hour is meant to network with other Chamber members, promote your business, and cultivate rela-

tionships. Also please sign up the Friday before our monthly meeting if you plan on attending.

I would also like to thank Brandy Blanch for her time at the Chamber, she did a fantastic job, but

we understand that family comes first and she needed to be with her family during the summer. As

many of you know, Brandy is a Chamber member with Origami so we will see her at some upcom-

ing events! We wish her the best of luck!

We’ve have a busy summer coming up, loads of networking opportunities, meeting and greeting the

people you do business with. We have numerous new members so help Sandi and I show them how

great a chamber we have in Prior Lake. Have a great month, and remember as always, shop local,

shop often!

Save the date for Lakefront Days for August 7, 8, 9. Forms have been emailed out to our mem-

bers, so sign up quickly, some of the events and sponsorships have filled up already!

In closing for this month’s newsletter, as in previous months, I will ask each of you… are you get-

ting the most out of the Prior Lake Chamber? If not, are you putting the most into it? Become ac-

tive and SPONSOR of one our numerous events and get your business name recognized. If you

can’t become a sponsor, become a VOLUNTEER and make yourself present at one or more of the

events and meet people, talk to them, let them get to know you… and they will eventually become

one of your clients.
