PORTFOLIO’12

Inês has finished her master degree in FAUP, in June of 2010. Her thesis was based on an urban/architectural analysis of Rotterdam, a city port with a very singular character. The desire to understand the city’s atmosphere and footprint came out at the time she lived in the Netherlands.Erasmus program proved to be a great opportunity to be in touch with other cultural realities and archi-tectural practices. Inês completed a succsefull year of studies in TuDelft, reason why she was later on invited by Kurt Van Belle - her teacher of Design As-signment – for an internship at Van Belle & Medina Architects, Antwerp.Inês past professional projects range from small multipurpose pavilions and dwelling to offices proj-ects of 9500m2. Buildings with public program proved to be the more attractive challenges which she had to work. She believes those are great op-portunities to position architectural concepts among the contemporary debate.
