• Printmaking is an artistic process where an image is transferred from one surface to another.

• Printmaking is often a great way of creating images that can be repeated.

• It is a art form that allows you to make very expressive marks.

Monoprint Styles

What you will need…

• Acetate

• Roller

• Ink

• Mark making tools

• Light paper

• Prepared Image

HOW TO MAKE A MONOPRINT1. Using a roller apply ink evenly to the acetate

2. Carefully place a clean sheet of paper over the acetate

3. Using an assortment of tools, draw your image onto the page

4. Remove the page and turn over to reveal your masterpiece!!

Remember…

• Don’t lean on the paper

• Make sure the ink is evenly spread

• Use different tools for varied marks

• Keep your fingers clean

• Give your prints a boarder
