from central level MoEF & CC , New Delhi.. As per EIA Notification dated 2006, as
amended time to time, this project is comes under A Category. (G.C. applicable)
(iii) Need for the Project & Its Importance to the Country/ Region
The mineral Masonry stone is used in various construction activities and will
be sold to nearby markets to fulfill the requirements of the local people.
(iv) Demand – Supply Gap
Considering the demand of mineral sufficient availability of the mineral in the
area, it is essential to have Masonry stone mine to sustain the supply of
mineral for construction purpose.
(v) Imports vs. Indigenous Production
It is a cheap mineral used in construction activities in rural areas therefore
export is not possible.
(vi) Export Possibility
There is no export possibility as these mineral is quite cheap and locally
available in abundance and used in rural areas.
(vii) Domestic/Export Markets
These minerals have only domestic market and will fulfill the requirement of
local. The stone may also be supplied to stone crusher proposed to be installed
outside the lease area.

(3) ESTIMATION OF RESERVES
Proved reserves : Nil
Probable reserves : 731050 tonnes
Mineable Reserves : 731050 tonnes
(4) MINEABLE RESERVES AND ANTICIPATED LIFE OF THE MINE
The Mineable reserves of Masonry Stone have been calculated by taking into account
the reserves in proved and probable category only. The mineable reserves are
731050 tonnes and life of mine is 5 Years.
(5) Method of Mining
The mining will be done by semi-mechanized opencast method. The height & width
of bench will be 6 meters at a time. For the systematic working of opencast mines,
benching will be done. The main work will be systematic benching. This benching
will also give the desired production of the mineral. Hydraulic excavator/loader and
tippers are proposed for removal and loading of mineral in tippers/trucks.
The haul/ approach roads will be provided up to the proposed working, site
services, site of dump and site of stock from the nearest tar road.
The mineral is proposed to transport by tractor trolley and tippers.
