Currently, students are accustomed to getting their news online. Therefore, by promoting printed media in a new way, students across the country who do not regularly read newspapers may be tempted to pick one up.

We have taken inspiration from dis-tribution methods in other coun-tries, and are proposing to imple-ment newspaper vending machines in carefully considered locations that would increase accessibility to students.

We are also proposing to introduce a weekly student pull-out section of the newspaper, in order to encour-age purchases and appeal to our target audience.

Content would potentially include:- Student News Matrix/Editor’s Letter- University profile/article (different uni each week)- Secondary articles- Reviews/Event listings- Student Sports News
