ConclusionThere is no consensus on standardizing the monitoring of cardiac function in these patients. There is no reliable models able to predict the risk of cardiotoxicity.Careful management and assessment of cardiac risk is essential in these patients, and the long-term effects of different treatments require further study. It is increasingly important to establish dynamic partnerships between oncologists and cardiologists in order to reduce mortality and improve patients quality of life, while maintaining the efficacy of the treatment.
