Overview

‒ This job aid covers how to print a VAB exam certificate from CourseSites by Blackboard.

‒ Click on the name of the step to go straight to that set of instructions.

Step: Page:

Step 1

‒ This is the training modules page.

‒ The screen should start with “Module 1: Introduction and Overview” visible.

‒ After viewing each module, click the button. The next module will then appear.

Step 1

‒ After completing all required modules, the exam will be available.

‒ Click on the underlined text to open.

Step 2

‒ After completing all required modules and passing the exam, the exam certificate will be available.

‒ Click on the underlined text to open.

Step 3‒ A new window

will open. It should look like the image to the left. If it doesn’t, click here for help.

‒ Enter your name (as you want it shown on your certificate).

‒ Click “Next.”

Step 4‒ Click the

“Download Certificate” button.

‒ A PDF will be generated.

Step 4‒ Depending on the browser settings, you will be

prompted to open or save the file, or the file will download automatically. Check your download folder to verify the file downloaded correctly.

Step 5‒ Open the file

to view.

‒ Click to print.

‒ Click to save a copy of the PDF certificate for your records.

Step 6‒ Click the Next

button or “X” to close the window and return to the course.

Step 7

‒ To include your name on the current year VAB Training Participants list, send a copy of this certificate via email to VABTraining@floridarevenue.com.

‒ DOR updates the VAB Training Participants list weekly. It is available on the VAB training webpage at http://floridarevenue.com/dor/property/vab/training.html.

‒ Depending on which browser you are using and your browser settings, you may see a “popup blocked” message.

‒ Click here to view steps for Google Chrome.

‒ Click “Done.”
