P-labelling guarantees the quality and function
Our bag filters in the filter classes F5, F6, F7 and F8 are P-labelled according to the certification rules for air filters SPCR 022. This is a guarantee from a neutral body that the filter fulfils the re-quirements set for quality and function. SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden continually monitors the design, production and testing of P labelled filters.
Included in the requirements is a six-month long test, where among other things the arrestance grade is checked, so the products correspond to established standards.
Quality air for your products and production The air quality in your production environment is often crucial to the quality of your products. This is our challenge. We meet your filtering needs, what-ever your technical demands. We use every filtering technique and every filtering material available, as filters in your products or for filtering of your produc-tion facilities. Filton AB is a company in the Dinair Group AB, and we have our own manufacturing units in Sweden, Latvia and China.
Quality and environment
Quality and environment are terms that in many respects belong together. Therefore, it has been natural for Filton and the Dinair Group to raise the products' value and quality by quality and environ-mental certification according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Our operations are inspected and certified by SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden, which also stands for the day-to-day checks.

DinTex is a series of synthetic filter materials that are tested and optimised for air filtration.
There are many and versatile applications. The synthetic material consists of polymer fibres that, thanks to an exclusive mixing and binding technology, give a material with a large number of fibres per square metre. The material is self-extinguishing and all the versions are fire certi-fied.
DinTex is characterised by a very low pressure drop in relation to the air flow as well as good dust capture properties.
DinTex can be supplied cut to specialdimensions on request.

Draft free ventilationA ventilation system in textile is the cheapest alterna-tive for supply air and an excellent alternative to the traditional plate drum. Our textile air distribution hose effectively distributes the air over a large area and, moreover, avoids uncomfortable drafts and noise in the premises. The air distribution hose is simple to install and it can be adapted as required. The hose also func-tions as an extra filter, for example in the wood industry, where the return air often goes via an air distribution hose.
Advantages
• Extra filtration• Low noise level• Low installation cost• Easy and quick assembly• Moveable• Draft free air supply• Available in several colours• Does not become mouldy• Extremely low moisture absorption • Low weight• Washable• Support rings to maintain the shape

Quality is good, but the right quality is betterIf you want to use your filter to the maximum – but with as few replacements as possible – you need to turn to a filter supplier who has the competence and the resources to recommend the right quality and who manufactures the right fit. We have the quality that matches your needs. To be able of producing a filter that is exactly right, it is necessary to take several factors into consideration, which together creates a broad spectrum of variations. The factors that influence the filter's quality include the fibre mix, surface struc-ture, mechanical/chemical treatment and assembly etc.
Always ask our advice when it is time to replace a filter. Then you can rest assured that you obtain the best possible for your equipment.
TetratexPTFE membrane for extreme arrestance and durability.
Version HEA polyester range with fine fibres that result in an increased arrestance efficiency as well as less risk for blinding. It can be combined with impregnation, which increases the cleanability in the case of damp and sticky dusts.
Version SL - specially adapted for the food industryWith a self-supporting structure, it is possible to in-crease the fibre quantity and thereby improve the filtration and capacity. A great advantage is that the material does not release any fibres or threads in seams and joints. The needle loom is also available in an antistatic version, containing fibres that are coated with copper sulphide, which means that the material also has antibacterial properties.

DinGrip is a holding frame for DinPak, MaxFlo, Pleat Header, DinCell, Header and similar with connection frame.
The frames are available in several standard sizes. These are built together into a larger framework or fil-ter bank. The frames are manufactured from 1.25 mm galvanised steel plate and they are provided with four strong locking rings to hold the filter in place as well as rubber gaskets on the inside of the frame for the maxi-mum gasket against the filter.
To provide the best function and sealing, the frame is assembled so that the filter replacement is done form the dust side/inlet side.
The frames are bolted together for the highest stability. In the case of larger filter banks and flows, the support profiles should be mounted between the frames, at a suitable arrestance, to obtain the maximum stability and sealing.

In all forms of spray booth and lacquering facilities, it is desirable to provide the facility with clean, filtered air as well as to remove and separate, among other things, pigment particles that are damaging to the lac-quered surface.
The purification takes place in several steps, depend-ing on the various types of lacquering facilities, pro-duction lines, repair box etc. Prefiltering is performed with bag filters. The most important link in the whole facility is the ceiling filter. This should be clean and distribute the air in a laminar flow into the spray booth.
The harmful particles for a lacquer are those larger than 5 µm. These particles must be prevented from reaching the lacquer surface by using good filtration, work methods and the design of the facility.
In a drying oven, hot air is circulated that also must be filtered in order for the lacquered surface not to become contaminated. For these ends, there are spe-cial high temperature filters available. DinPleat and DinHeat, 200-300°C.

To achieve a high level of cleanliness and thereby longer operating life for the ceiling filter, the air should be purified in different steps. A prefilter is a must, and this is done best using the bag filter MaxFlo G4-F6.
Intermediate filtration is advantageous, where possible, where the air is purified further and the ducts and other equipment before the ceiling filter are protected. Suitable filters are MaxFlo F5-F8.

Prefilter and Intermediate Filter
When selecting ceiling filter, the following factors are very important:
• DIN identification• Vibration secured• High dust holding capacity• High arrestance• No fibre release• Fire resistant
Ceiling filter
CC-600 fulfils these requirements by a good margin and this makes it a unique ceiling filter media.
• The final filter, which for lacquering prevents damaging particles from passing• Fire classed according to UL class 1 and self-extinguishing according to DIN 53438-F1• 100% impregnation of the media's fibres for the maximum arrestance and dust holding capacity• Classified RO according to particle migration• Backing with flammability rating, up to 180°C• Quality guarantee with DIN CERTO identification number

CC-600 G is a filter media specially produced to sepa-rate damaging particles from the air in all types of lac-quering facilities. For smaller repair facilities as well as for the vehicle industry. Under all conditions, the media give a laminar air flow.
This media obtains its unique performance from a progressive multi-layering of brake-proof [sic] fibres. These are 100% treated with a specially produced ad-hesive. The clean air side is covered with a very strong fabric to prevent damage and to give the mat stability.
The media is thermally bound and treated with an ad-hesive that prevents fibre and particle release of dam-aging particles larger than 5 µm. This applies under varying operating conditions.
These properties contribute to a constant laminar flow in the entire spray booth, with low pressure drop and high dust holding capacity.
Taken altogether, CC-600 G is a media the provides unique performance to low operating and mainte-nance costs.
Product description CC-600

In those cases where damage occurs to lacquered sur-faces, due to dirt and fibres, it is often stated that "it is the filter's fault".
From our long experience with FILTRAIR® CC-600 G, we can say that in 99 cases of 100 this is not the case. Damaging dust greater than 5 µm does to penetrate and the media's 50-70 mm long fibres are not released. This is on the condition that the filter is undamaged and correctly installed. To localise the source of lacquer damage, there are a number of causes to be consid-ered. We consider here some of the actions that should be taken:
• Make sure the filter is correctly installed. The side with the DIN identification is the clean air side and it must be at the bottom of the box.
• Check the seal between the filter frame and the media.
• Make sure that fibre threads have not fastened in the grill fabric, frames etc during the filter replacement.
• Run the box with the maximum air flow after replacing a filter so any fibres that have fastened on the mat during transport and assembly disappear.
• Change filter when the final pressure drop is reached.
• Measure the box's overpressure.
• Measure the air velocity and air flow.
• Check the air currents directed downwards and any turbulence with smoke cartridges.
• Check the personnel's clothing and equipment. In 9 cases of 10, lacquer damage is caused by fibres from clothing, masking tape and drying clothes.
• Clean the object to be lacquered as carefully as possible. However, particle counts have shown that it is never possible to obtain complete cleanliness from damaging particles with a second-hand paint-ing object.
• Do not let the doors to the lacquering boothstand open unnecessarily, especially when it is still warm. The temperature difference between the box and the work place attracts the colder outdoor air, which is then set in movement and carries along dif-ferent types of fibres and dust from the work place's floor. The cooler air streams from the work place into the lacquering booth up to the filter ceiling, where fibres and damaging particles fasten on the filter's clean air side.
When the box is started up for the next object to be lacquered these particles loosen and fall down with serious damage as a consequence. This phenom-enon is particularly manifest in our cold climate.
• Check the compressed air filter, so the air is free from impurities.
• Check that the lacquer is completely clean.
• Keep the box clean. Cleaning the fittings, grille cloth, frames, floor etc.

DinGlas Yellow
DinGlas is a progressively formed glass fibre media for separating pigment particles in sur-face treatment facilities. The media is oiled and it is used with advantage when water based paints are used. For technical data, see separate sheet.
DL-900
DL-900 is an extract air filter for use in spray painting facilities. Suitable for pigment particles, glue, polyester etc. The filter is a so-called labyrinth filter in a pleated design and it is manufactured from two layers of strong card, with a reinforcing band stapled on to maintain the correct pleat gap.
Where wet scrubbing does not take place, different types of filter are used. The most common are different types of glass media, such as DinGlas dry or oiled as well as DL-900, which is a pleated labyrinth filter made form paper. A combination of these filters can also be used.

Residential HVAC application
We offer a complete program of small filters for home ventilation. For example, we have expanded surface panel filters with high air cleaning index, F7, which rfesults in a better purification on the supply side than offered by a standard filter.
On the extract air side, a washable metal mesh grease filter or a hygienic single-use filter can be chosen, for ex-ample for a kitchen fan. The filter is cost effective and it has a low pressure drop that is suited to exactly the type of smaller fan that are found in the home, air heat pumps and vehicles.
The range includes expanded surface panel filters that provide a higher air cleaning index than panel filters, e.g. in Minimaster units. We also have hygienic and effective single-use filters that replace older metal gauze filters to a low cost.
In many homes, dirt and textile dust in the air ducts results in reduced air replenish-ment and poor indoor air. Another conse-quence that follows from poor indoor air is the problem of damp.
With the extract air filters Dinair-FF 100, 125 and 160 for standard ventilators and filter units, MD for tumble driers/laundries, these problems can be avoided in a simple and cost effective way.
Thanks to large series production, which is combined with our industrial filter manu-facturing, we can offer very competitive prices.
