Concert Wind Band
The band meets and The band meets and rehearses every week in the Younger
Hall and performs in one major concert each academic
semester as well as the occasional outdoor concert. Wind,
brass and percussion players of all abilities are very welcome
(the band is un-auditioned) and the repertoire includes
arrangements of classical and popular music and film scores.

Big BUSTA
The Big Band of the The Big Band of the University of St Andrews, affectionately
known as Big BUSTA, was created in September 2012. An
ensemble of players was formed to play both the classics of
the swing era and contemporary funk and modern jazz. The
band performs at a wide variety of functions and has already
made a name for themselves in the short time since their
formation. If you would like more info on the band, would
lilike to join the band or would like to book the band for an
