Last Saturday fourteen G10 and 11 students visited Ting Ting School. This was the ninth Ting Ting Activity for this school year. Many of the NIS students have attended many of these activities and are aware of the benefits of interacting with the local community. Due to the close relationship we now have the Ting Ting kids are truly excited when we arrive. It is like old friends getting together and when one observes the interaction it is difficult to see who is getting the most out of this activity. Alex T., Maxi, Shelley, You Ri, Anabel, Jiayi, Seoyeong, Loeke, Morgan, Jack Z., Zehe, Ebba, Jayla and Zeju were accompanied by Ms Hannah and Ms Droulez on this visit. We are all looking forward to next year.

Time FarmA Permaculture Organic Farm
Time Farm is a permaculture organic farm located at Jiangning, Nanjing. At Time Farm, we grow healthy produce by building and maintaining a balanced ecosystem. One of the methods we use is to introduce herbs, flowers and trees into our agroecosystem. These help to attract beneficial insects and repel pests.
We are different from other organic farms as we use ZEROpesticide and herbicide, not even those allowed in organic planting.
We make compost with grass clippings, leaves, chicken manure and goat manure, all ofwhich are very nutritious for plants.
Our plants are irrigated with collected rain and filtered water and we have built our ownwetland to clean water.
We produce organic vegetables, organic rice, free range eggs, and some oil which we candeliver to your home.
A group of international volunteers come to help from time to time and we welcome parentsand children to join us at weekends and have fun.
How to order vegetables from Time Farm1. NIS sale. Every Thursday afternoon from 2:45 to 3:30 at NIS.2. Wechat. Search for Timefarm at wechat and add us to your contacts. I will inviteyou to a wechat group, where I post vegetable list every Wednesday, You can placeyour order before Friday and vegetables will be delivered to your home in Saturdaymorning (except Jiangning) or Friday afternoon(Jiangning).
