“I really appreciate the Men’s Chorus sacrifice to be here and for their beautiful music. It is a dream come true that
would not have been realized without the men’s help.”
Gloria Casteneda, recipient of Habitat for Humanity’s benefit concert
“She (Rosalind Hall) has had a very significant impact. She’s brought an enthusiasm and another view . . . that’s
refreshing. We’re very pleased with what she’s done.”
David Randall, former director of the BYU School of Music
“I think they’re one of the finest male choirs in America today. And I don’t hesitate about saying that. They also do
interesting literature that is appropriate for the male voice. It’s a wonderful tradition that they have, and tradition is
important in any choral area.”
John Cooksey, University of Utah
“Their reputation as a crowd pleaser stems from their dynamic performances and polish. They go from powerful and
elegant to knee slapping fun during the course of an evening.”
Norm Nielsen, Scera Corp. President
“For maturity, resonance, depth of commitment, and power, the BYU Men’s Chorus can’t be touched.”
Deseret News
“That many clean-cut young men in navy blue blazers is a sight in itself. And it’s not just the sound they make,
powerful though it is and of such high quality that their chords resound in memory long after the concert’s over.”
Laurie Williams Sowby, The Daily Herald

When I listen to a choir, the thing that I want to hear, aside from the obvious of right notes and right rhythms, is a spirit—I want my soul nourished, and I want to somehow know those people through their spirits. . . . There are many good choirs in the country, but there aren’t many that sing with that kind of spirit and commitment and love. There is some kind of something going on there. They’re really wonderful!

It was fantastic from beginning to end! I mean, it was just really magnificent! . . . A great appeal of the Men’s Chorus is the great variety of things that they do. . . . They were just so well done; everything was well done
