A new name for the Building Materials Resource Center

Too often, reusable building materials end up in here…

Don’t Throw It Away—Donate!

• Good quality used and/or surplus building materials

• Can be reused in a residential setting

• Cabinet sets, vanities, newer appliances

• Doors, double-pane windows

• Plumbing and lighting fixtures

• Tile, flooring, molding, lumber

Benefits of Donating

• Keep good-quality materials out of the waste stream

• Reduce disposal costs

• Tax deduction for the fair-market value of the materials

• Provide affordable materials for others to use for home maintenance and repair

What we can’t accept…

• Doors or windows with lead paint

• Items with missing parts

• Items too old to be reused

• Hollow core doors

• Storm windows

• Toilets that are not low-flow

• Appliances more than five years old
