Introduction

Many schools across India offer services to pick-up and drop the students from and to a specific location. The school generally has its own transport arrangement and is the owner of this service offered.

Problem• The school does not have a visibility in

regards to the number of students picked or dropped and the exact time of the pick-up and drop.

• There is no system where the parents can check if their children have been picked-up and dropped in the given timeframe.

• This lack of visibility builds pressure on the school authorities and the parents as well.

Solution• The bus driver or assistant in the school bus is equipped with a

Nokia NFC phone. This phone will have our Bhraman application configured and installed for the particular bus, driver, route, etc.

• The students are issued RFID Photo ID cards which are programmed with the Student name and parents Mobile phone number.

• When the student enters the bus the bus driver or assistant touches the student RFID card with the Nokia phone.

• By doing so our application will immediately trigger a SMS to the parent’s mobile number and also upload the transaction to the our Bhraman sub-domain registered for the school.

• The transaction time is recorded and uploaded as well.• Similarly the SMS can be sent after the students reach the school,

leave the school and are dropped at the final destination.• School buses will be equipped with GPS Systems, which will enable

the school authorities to see the route taken by the buses.• Parents can see the Pick-up & Drop points through this GPS

enabled system
