department. Coordinate the activities of several crews in the collection and disposal of
household refuse, recycling, and yard waste. Respond to citizens’ questions and
complaints, monitor collection routes, coordinate and teach safety training, investigate
employee-involved accidents and injuries, and ensure proper operational and safety
guidelines and procedures are followed.
