I hereby declare that Romi Novriadi participated to a train¡ng at the research station Shrimp CultureResearch and Development (SCRD) in Chonburi Province, Thailand, from 9th July till 20th August 2012.

His training entailed monitoring postlarval shrimp development based on microscopic observation of gillramification and rostral spines; running a sampling campaign in commercial hatcheries located nearSCRD to obtain postlarvae at harvesting age and determine individual dry weights at the laboratoryfacilities of SCRD; assist with carrying out shrimp trials, hence learning about live food protocols,shrimp feeding protocols, larviculture zootechnics, determining evaluation parameters, data gathering,planning and organization. The work of Romi Novriadi resulted in a detailed lnternship Report.

The SCRD supervisor - Patipon Srianek - was very pleased with Romi's participation. lt was explicitlyreported that he fulfilled hard work with accurate methodology and displaying a high degree ofresponsability, social skills and team working.
