The photo shows three bui lding layers. The first floor, or surface layer, is the public level . The second level , or near surface layer, is semi-private. The top level , or sky layer, is the most private, but the most vulnerable to environmental condit ions.

The doorway pictured is accessible because the doorway is a minimum of 36” wide and there is a 5’ turn radius in the approaching hal lway. In addit ion the door hardware is latch style, easy for people with special needs to operate.
