Where is it located?
The Serpent Mound is located on route seventy-three. six miles north of route thirty-two and twenty south of Bainbridge in Adams
county.
NAME OF HISTORIC PLACE
• The historic place I chose was the Serpent mound. I chose the Serpent mound because we were talking about it in social studies and I think its cool.
What is it?
The Serpent Mound is a really big mound that is shaped like a snake or
serpent. The Adena tribe are the creators of the Serpent mound. So
they say.
What can you do there
• You can walk around and look at it. It has a museum but I’m not sure what’s in it, might have artifacts.
When is it open
• Its open every day except Mondays and Tuesdays.
What does it cost
• It costs $0.00 for OHS Members. For personal vehicles its $7.00. Motorcycles are $2.00. RV and commercial van are $9.00.School buses its $35.00 and for commercial buses are $70.00
