The Parables of Lent Mid-Week Lent Worship Services
Each service in this series focuses on a biblical parable that connects to Lenten themes.
This sermon series reveals that within each parable’s plot is woven a unique message
about what we receive through the crucified Christ. We can then take the message with
them to enrich our own stories of faith in Jesus as they journey through Lent. Service
begins at 7pm in the Chapel. Dinner is served in the Fellowship Hall at 6pm.
$5 per person, $15 per family.
Week 1, Wed., Feb. 25th
“Receive the Word: The Sower and the Seed”
Dinner hosted by the Youth Dept.,- Soup Supper.
Attached you’ll find the 2015 Spring Hephatha Church “Get Connected” brochure. More
info on mid-week Lenten services, Holy Week, Easter Services and much more.
Easter Service Project - Reach Out & Grab a Basket
This year we will be making Easter baskets for seniors & those in need in both our church & community. Friends & members of Hephatha are invited to take a basket, & fill it with items of their choosing, & then bring to the Church office no later than Palm Sunday. If you would like to deliver baskets face-to-face, please sign-up for one of our delivery teams. The main focus is to visit with the person, not what is in the basket.
Easter Family Event
Join us on Saturday, March 4th for a wonderful family-centered event!
Meet in fellowship hall from 10am till 11:30am, we will work on art,
learning different Bible stories, & ending with a giant Easter Egg Hunt!
This is a great event for families with small children, & the Easter Egg
hunt is great for children from 2 years to 4th grade. For more info,
contact Timothy Potthoff at 714-637-0887 ext. 157 or email at
tpotthoff@hephatha.net.
