TheI-BeamTE-IFDisacamerasystemthatutilizesafrontfacinginfrarednightvisioncameratomonitoranddigitallyrecordoncomingtrafficandobstaclesatnight.AfrontmountedlicenseplatewithhighpowerinfraredL.E.D.’sassistthecamerainprovidingaclearimageatnight.Astandardrearmountedcamerahasbeenprovidedaswelltocompletethepackage.Bothcameraimageswillbeshownthrougheitheranaftermarketradio,orastand-alonemonitor(notprovided).

Supportinguptoa32GBUSBflashdrive(notincluded),theTE-IFDcanrecordupto28hoursofcontinuousrecording,automaticallywhileyouaredriving,throughboththefrontandrearcameras.Abuilt-ing-forcesensorwilldetectacollisionwhichwillthenlockandprotectthevideofilesfrombeingoverwritten.TheTE-IFDcanalsorecordimageswhilethevehicleisparkedwiththehelpofofabuilt-inmotionsensorlocatedwithinthefrontcamera.Recordedvideoscanbeeasilyretrievedandplayedback,andusedasevidenceifneedbe.

INTRODUCTION INSTALLING THE TE-IFD

> Front Camera:Findasuitableplaceontheinsideofthewindshieldtoinstallthenightvisioninfraredfrontcamera.Behindornearthemirrorwouldbebest.Beforeunpeelingthetapetoinstallthecamera,adjustthecameralenstofaceforward.Thecameralenswillsimplyrotateupordown.Cleanthewindshield,unpeelthedoublesidedtape,andthenadherethecameratothewindshield.RoutethecabletothelocationwheretheTE-IFDwillbeinstalledat,thenconnectthecameratotheTE-IFDinterface.(FigureAonnextpage)

> Rear Camera:Using(2)stainlesssteelPhillipsscrewsprovided,installthecameralabeled“RearCamera”toalocationinthecenteroftherearofthevehicle.Thelicenseplateareainmostvehiclesisagoodlocation.Leavetheadjustmentscrewslooseuntilthecamerahasbeenadjusted.Oncethecamerahasbeenadjusted,tightenthescrews.Routethecableintothevehicle,andthentothelocationwheretheTE-IFDinterfacewillbeinstalledat.ConnectthecameratotheTE-IFDinterface.(FigureAonnextpage)

> License plate mount with infrared lights:Removethelicenseplatefromthefrontofthevehicleandinstallthelicenseplatemountwithinfraredlightsbetweenthelicenseplateandthevehicle.Connecttheinfrareddriver,thenroutetheBlackandYellowwirestothebattery.ConnecttheBlackwiretothenegativepost,andtheYellowwiretothepositivepost.ConnecttheRedwiretoanaccessorypowersource.

> Video harness:ConnecttheYellowRCAjacktoanaftermarketradioorstand-alonemonitorprovidingthecameraimage.Iftheradio/monitorhasareversetriggerwire,connecttheRedwiretothereversetriggerwire.Ifnot,tapeoffanddisregardtheRedwire.ConnecttheharnessintotheTE-IFDinterface.

> Mobile phone control:TheTE-IFDcanbecontrolledviaafreedownloadableapp.FollowtheinstructionsthatfollowstosetupamobilephonetoactasaWi-FihotspotfortheTE-IFD.

> Motion detection (optional):Whilethevehicleisinparkedandunattended,theTE-IFDcanbetriggeredbymotionwhenanobjectmoveswithinthesensingareainthefrontofthevehicle.Toenableordisablethisfeature,thesoftwareintheTE-IFDwillneedtobeupdatedonline.Instructionsonhowtoperformthisupdatearealsoavailableonline.PleaserefertothewebsitelinkorQRcodeinthebeginningoftheinstructionbooklet.

> Video lock/unlock:Thiswillallowfilestobelockedorunlocked.
