Feedback on Strengths Being able to recognize when someone is not their self.

The strengths I consider, was having an Aboriginal Health Worker as an Instructor deliver this training. I was very lucky that this course was offered to me, free and travel was not in Sydney, but local.

To me, and this is a personal opinion, made it be very clear the different thinking in Mental health within different cultures

ALGEE and understanding the process

Depth and breadth of information provided and how we could use the skills/tools taught to us with confidence.

Deals with several misunderstood concepts. Corrects misconceptions

1. The workbook 2. The activity sheets and the breaking up into groups for small group activities 3. The knowledge of the Instructor 4. Location of the course

Easy to take in, simplified strategies,

More Feedback The information provided and the way it was presented

The demonstrations to help understand.

the way the course was delivered and having an Aboriginal focus throughout the course & it was easy to comprehend each of the modules

It's relevance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Its ability to highlight the areas they struggle with and why

Resources and presentation of course

The instructor including everyone within the group and every one as far as I could see was relaxed during the course while still involved. Enjoyed the short films specially. They brought a lot of the course information front and centre
