Reports to the Site Coordinator
Safety and Supervision of 40-60 Elementary school students on school campus every day from 2-6pm
Assist with the facilitation of programs at School Site with an emphasis on the following core programs:
o Academic Success, Character and Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles.
Plan programs and activities that supports club’s mission, core programming, goals, and objectives
Develop day-to-day program activities in accordance to school’s academic and social needs
Encourage members to participate in a variety of program areas/activities and receive instruction and constructive feedback to develop skills.
Demonstrate leadership to assure conduct, safety and development of members
Provide support with proper record keeping and reporting including activities and events conducted, breakdowns of daily participation figures, notable achievements and any problems/issues.
Increase visibility of Club programs via posting of daily schedule, announcements of upcoming events and the dissemination of timely information for the development of advertising and promotion through mailings, fliers and media releases.
Responsible for program recruitment and flyers
Evaluate programs on a continual basis and ensure programs/activities respond to member needs
Knowledge and implementation of LAUSD protocols and policies SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE DESIRED:
Two year degree in related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of two years of work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.
Demonstrated organizational, staff and project management abilities.

Salary: During the six (6) week training period the salary is $15.37/hr with benefits. PRE-APPLICATION WILL BE GIVEN Electrician – Job Duties and Tasks Maintain current electrician’s license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters and test lamps.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls or other concealed areas and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes. Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
Work from ladders, scaffolds and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
Provide assistance during emergencies by operating flood lights and generators, placing flares and driving needed vehicles.
Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.
Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment.

equipment readily available and be trained in its use. Hang Fire Blankets/Build Cocoon/Hooch Secure the Hot
Work area. (Cover drains, sewers, wet down area etc.) Understand the Permitting Procedures Maintain accurate
account of Entrants that enter and exit the Confined Space. Continuously monitor the area with the use of a four
gas monitor. Identify potentially unsafe conditions Maintain the Conditions and Requirements as listed on the
Work Permits. Continuously monitor the area for 30 minutes after the hot work has stopped. Be familiar with all
the facilities emergency notification procedures and equipment. Have all of the proper equipment as required by
the permit available and working correctly. Must obey both Customer and employer safe work practices at all
times.
