Introduction:
Corporal Punishment is the intentional infliction of pain on the body for the purposes of
punishment. The research project that I have done is to assess the views and opinions that the
students at Tuskegee University have about spanking and corporal punishment on children. The
survey was given out to the students as a paper copy but also placed on the Internet for others to
take. In this survey the students were asked did getting spanked as a means of discipline punish
them. It also asks how likely they will spank their children as a mean of discipline. The majority
of the people who took my survey were students under the age of 21. My hypotheses were more
likely males who took my survey were spanked as a mean of discipline and still were in trouble
with the police. I also believed that females would more than likely use spanking as a means of
discipline. I really was not surprise with the results I received from these surveys.

There were seventy-four respondents who have never been in trouble with the police, and

were not discipline.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, in this research project I surveyed a hundred Tuskegee University students to get
their views/opinions, on corporal punishment. These pie and bar graphs shows how people feel
about corporal punishment. It also, shows the univariate, bivariate, and multivariate table. In
these tables/graphs it gives a thorough over view of what the respondents feels about corporal
punishment by gender, age, and classification.
