N.B. Mass on Tuesday will be in school and is the transferred feast of St. George, patron of England, since the feast date fell in the Easter Octave.

Wednesday is May Day and the memoria of St Joseph the Worker. The statue donated by Dominic Noone will be blessed during the midday Mass.

Friday is the First Friday of the month and dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Mass will be in the Sacred Heart Chapel.

The month of May is traditionally dedicated to Our Blessed Lady, Queen of the May. The School will

host our May Procession later in the month to which everyone is invited.

My sincere thanks for the very generous Easter Offerings and for the many cards and

chocolate! A donation has been made to

Aid to the Church in Need.

Ella is also VERY grateful for all the gravy bones, doggie chocolate

and other copious treats!

First Holy Communion (current YEAR 4). Saturday 11th May 10 -15:00 Parish Hall. (Packed Lunch required)

Saturday 18th May, 4pm – 5:45pm Parish Hall—Parents and children should meet in Church. Jobs will be given out.

The seating for the big day will be arranged by the drawing of lots so that it is fair. - Saturday 15th June 4:30 - 5:45, in Church - Rehearsal

Celebration of First Holy Communion 22nd June

CONFIRMATION 2020 (YEAR 5) - 12th May immediately after Sunday morning Mass First meeting for children and Parents wishing to apply for Confirmation next year.

The First session for the children will be July 20th 10am - 3pm. They will require a packed lunch.

Flower Collection for Easter: Thank you for your generosity of £291.17 and £100 from the Polish Community towards the flowers

to celebrate the Lord’s Resurrection. My sincere thanks to Margaret, Sheila and Doreen for the beautiful flowers throughout the year but especially over Easter.
