St. Peter Worship

GATHERING RITE ON

HOLY BAPTISM

Sunday January 13th

Welcome toSt. Peter!

Our worship focuses on Jesus’ baptism as well as our own baptisms. His baptism began his earthly ministry to earn life. Ours began our heavenly journey through life. Through this washing of rebirth God graciously makes us his children and empowers us to live in joy and confidence. God bless your worship.

Welcome toSt. Peter!

There are friendship registers at the end of each pew.

Please take a moment to give us your information so that we have a record of your time with us today.

Prayer before Worship

Dear Lord, you made me your child through my baptism. Help me remember my baptism on a daily basis, and cherish the blessings that I have received from you. Amen

OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE

In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, Jesus gives us his true body and blood. We express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word.

Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of our church or the WELS. Visitors and guests who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.
