2006 SE Accomplishments – Success Examples
• GA – staff use ITRC products at DoD sites: Fort Gordon - Small Arms Firing Ranges; Fort Benning – Diffusion Samplers; Camp Wheeler – UXO Investigation
• NV – transforming an abandoned firing range to a wetlands park with ITRC’s Small Arms Firing Range document and ITRC’s Brownfield document for EPA funding process
• ME – using ITRC Alternative Landfill products to evaluate bioreactors proposal
• KS and MO – ITRC’s ISCO-2 products “saves the day” in MO to deny ISCO. In KS, the same info helps in approval of ISCO at Dry Cleaner sites
• VT – used perchlorate document to quickly respond to community and provide info for Commissioner

ITRC now manages by “project” vs. “team”
14 ITRC Teams have managed 28 projects
successfully in 2006 with minimal schedule
delays

predict its work load well into the future and plan
more effectively for new initiatives
