Summer Research Internship at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany

Work as paid undergraduate researcher in spring 2008.

Receive 3 credits of CVEN or OCEN 485 technical elective credit

When? The Internship is from May 15 to August 15,

2008 Applications are due by November 5, 2007

Who? Civil or Ocean

Engineering undergraduate students who will not graduate before December 2008 are eligible

Must have completed CVEN 311 by the end of Fall 2007

Doing What? Several fluid mechanics research projects have been

Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Participants will take one semester of college-

level German in Spring 2008 Technical elective credit earned in summer

German Course Monthly Team Meetings Work as paid undergraduate researcher in Dr.

Socolofsky’s laboratory up to 10 hours per week May 15-August 15, 2008: Research

Internship in Karlsruhe, Germany Fall 2008: Submit short report to NSF Fall 2008: Attend National IREE Conference

in Washington, D.C.
