ToCadetsandParents,Summer2016iscomingupverysoonandonceagainitistimetolookatwhatiscoursesareavailable.Goingonasummercourseisanexceptionallyrewardingandexcitingpartofthecadettrainingprogram.Notonlywillyoursonordaughterlearnnewskillsthatbuilduponwhatistaughtduringtheyearatthesquadron,theywillhaveanopportunitytoworkwithcadetsfromacrossBritishColumbiaorCanada.Thisyear,aSummerTrainingInformationNighthasbeensetuptogooverwhatcoursesareavailablethissummer,coursedatesandlocations.Othertopicsincludetheapplicationandselectionprocess,whatcadetsandparentsshouldexpectwhileoncourseandmuchmore.Afterthepresentation,thereistimeforparentsandcadetstoaskquestionsregardinganyaspectofsummertraining.Applicationformswillalsobecompletedthatnight.TheinformationnightwillbeheldatCoastalChurchCommercial(1645NGrandviewHwy,Vancouver,BCV5N1N3)from7:00pm–8:30pm.CadetswillbeatmeetingattheLegionatthebeginningofthenightaspernormaltrainingnighttimingsforattendanceandopeningparade.AfterwhichtheycanmaketheirwaytotheChurchwiththeofficers.ParentscangodirectlytotheChurch.Thisinformationnightwillbeveryinformative.Itismandatoryforallcadetsinterestedinattendingsummertrainingthisyeartoattendthisinformationnightwiththeirparents.Ifyou’veIfyouhaveanyquestions,pleasedonothesitatetocontactme.Ilookforwardtoseeingmanyofyoutherethatnight.Regards,LtIvyHoOperationsOfficer,59VancouverRCACSCanadianArmedForcesIvy.Ho@cadets.gc.ca/Tel:604-782-0936
