Music, Music, Music!!!
“Dum-dee, dum-dee, dah-dee-dum….”
This month residents enjoyed the musical tal-ents of Sherri Miller (left) and Sam Blatter
(right).
Sherri is a returning and well-attended pianist & friend that is always a joy to hear. As her
fingers whip across the piano, songs pour out– anything from a swinging waltz to a foot
tapping polka to an upbeat, good-old fashioned rag.
Residents enjoyed Sam’s ‘mini concert,’ which was filled with many amusing stories and
familiar, nostalgic tunes.

Doctor Day of Recognition March 20th was National
Recognition of Long Term
Care Physicians Day. On the
22nd staff and residents held
a potluck to celebrate this
day and give thanks to Dr.
Carly Robertson. She has
been serving as the Medical
Director at Sweet Home for 2
years now. Staff and residents are all thankful
for the care she provides and the friendship she
has built with each of them.

National Coca-Cola Day
was March 29th. In honor
of the day, staff and
residents enjoyed a
coca-cola themed dining
area, complete with displays
and cokes to drink. Various
staff and residents also
wore their coca-cola shirts
or red and white to
celebrate. Coca-cola was
invented in 1886 and is still
a tasty treat!
National Potato Chip Day was March
15th. Sweet Home tasted 7 different kinds of
Lay’s chips after lunch. It was unanimous that
the Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese were
the least favorite. Lay’s Classic chips
reached the most votes for overall
favorite, followed by Southern Biscuits
& Gravy, Dill Pickle and Honey
Barbeque were close in the contest. Even the
Flamin’ Hot received a fair amount of votes.
Just goes to show that the Classics are the best.
